With over 17 years of experience in the exchange industry, Margo is a respected author and speaker and has presented seminars and continuing education courses nationwide to share the benefits of 1031 exchanges. Margo’s extensive work on behalf of the exchange industry also includes spearheading efforts to launch a national certification and continuing education program for exchange practitioners and serving as founding chair of the Certified Exchange Specialist® (CES®) Certification Council of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA), the national trade association for exchange practitioners. She also spent over a decade on the Board of Directors for the FEA and served as Vice President and President Elect as well as a variety of committee posts. In 2008, she was honored with “The Margo McDonnell Certified Exchange Specialist® Perpetual Award for Outstanding Service” by the CES® Certification Council.

In 2002, she was promoted to Vice President and Senior Vice President in 2008. Sue works with her clients and their professional advisors as they determine the feasibility of an exchange and structure the transactions accordingly. She ensures all exchange documentation is prepared in strict compliance with IRS and Treasury Regulations. Sue has presented hundreds of seminars and continuing education courses to educate attorneys, accountants, REALTORS®, title agents and investors on 1031 exchanges and their many benefits. In 2003, she was among the first in the 1031 exchange industry to earn her Certified Exchange Specialist® (CES®) designation offered through the our national trade association, Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA). Sue is among an elite corps of exchange professionals who hold this coveted designation.

She joined our exchange team in 2004 and quickly embraced her position as Exchange Coordinator earning the “Rookie of the Year” award for her positive attitude and willingness to learn. She has assisted thousands of clients accomplish their investment goals by deferring capital gains through 1031 exchanges. Regardless of size or complexity, Marissa can keep the process simple and worry-free for her clients. She routinely presents seminars to educate real estate professionals and investors on the many benefits of IRC Section 1031. In April of 2008, she earned the coveted designation of Certified Exchange Specialist® (CES®) offered through the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA), the national trade association for exchange practitioners. She has an excellent foundation in the income tax issues of Real Estate transactions. During the mid 1980's she was on the faculty of the University of Maryland Conferences and Seminars Division, where she facilitated three-day seminars on the effects of Federal and State Income Tax on Real Estate transactions for real estate brokers licensed in Maryland. Author of “The 1031 Handbook,” she is the president of Exchange Professionals, Inc. which partnered with 1031 CORP. in 2011. Bettye serves as a consultant for 1031 CORP.

	RICHARD M. HELLER, ESQUIRE, CCIM, CES® CONSULTANT 1.800.734.1031 Email Rich Rich is a practicing attorney in Media with an extensive practice in real estate and formerly president of R.E.I. Consultants, Ltd., a 1031 qualified intermediary company. He serves as an instructor and lecturer on real estate topics throughout the country. He holds the prestigious CCIM designation of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Council of the National Association of REALTORS® and is listed as an exchange specialist; and is also a Certified Exchange Specialist®. He is a past chair of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and is a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. He was Resource Counsel to the Standard Forms Committee of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors. He is a member and former vice chair of the American Bar Association Purchase and Sale of Residential Real Estate Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust law Section and a member of the ABA’s Section of Taxation, Committee on Sales, Exchange and Basis. Rich serves as an advisor to the Joint State Government Commission (Real Estate Tax Force) of the Pennsylvania General Assembly, and is an Adjunct Professor in the Master of Science Tax program at Philadelphia University. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Delaware County Bar Associations. He has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for 2004 through 2011, in the field of real estate. Rich received his B.S. from West Chester University and his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law.

Consultants, Ltd., a 1031 qualified intermediary company. Joe is also a Certified Exchange Specialist® (CES®) and has assisted countless taxpayers structure a 1031 tax-deferred exchange. He is a graduate of Temple University with a B.S. degree in education and also a paralegal degree from The Pennsylvania State University. In 1983, he received an award from Outstanding Young Men of America.
