Isett first joined 1031 CORP. in 2002 as an Exchange Officer and initially earned his CES® designation in 2005, maintaining the credential until he left the exchange industry. He returned to 1031 CORP. in 2023, bringing an even broader professional background. A graduate of Widener University Delaware Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree, his career has also included serving as a law clerk for the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, working for a regional title agency and gaining experience in retail banking and lending. He also brings an entrepreneurial perspective from his experience as a business owner and real estate investor.

The CES® designation is widely recognized as the 1031 exchange industry's premier professional credential. Administered by the FEA, the voluntary certification requires a minimum of three years of full-time exchange experience and successful completion of a comprehensive examination covering exchange procedures, technical requirements and ethical responsibilities. Designees must also adhere to a strict code of ethics and complete ongoing continuing education.
