COLLEGEVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA-- 1031 CORP., a nationwide qualified intermediary, announced Ellie Trovato has earned the designation of Certified Exchange Specialist® (CES®). Ellie is an Exchange Officer in the Collegeville, Pennsylvania branch office. “Ellie is laser focused on providing an exceptional exchange experience for her clients and her efforts do not go unnoticed by her clients or their professional advisors.  The Certified Exchange Specialist® (CES®) Program is a voluntary certification and continuing education program offered through the FEA explicitly designed for 1031 tax-deferred exchange practitioners. The comprehensive examination covers 1031 exchange-related topics designed to challenge the candidate’s knowledge of exchange rules and their competency in performing the necessary daily activities of an exchange accommodator company. The 120-question examination also focuses on those ethical issues present when any third party controls the funds of another. Individuals are eligible to apply to sit for the examination after three years of full-time, hands-on experience facilitating like-kind exchanges.
