To initiate your exchange and keep the process simple for you, we will need the following information to prepare the exchange documents and notify the closing agent of your exchange:
- Order Form
You can fill out online or download the form and either fax to our exchange team at 610.792.4888 OR scan and email to 1031help@1031CORP.com.
- Copy of the executed Agreement of Sale for the property you are selling (Relinquished Property). We can get this from your real estate professional or attorney.
- Name and contact information for closing agent of relinquished property.
- Copy of the executed Agreement of Sale for the property you are purchasing (Replacement Property), if available.
- Name and contact information for the closing agent of replacement property, if available.
This will provide your Exchange Officer with the information needed to prepare the exchange documents for your review and signature prior to the closing. We will also notify the closing agent of your intent to exchange to ensure everything goes smoothly at your settlement. The more notice we have before closing, the smoother the process will be for all parties. However, if necessary, we can prepare documents very quickly.
